Fantastic at Four...

Ahhh, how is it that my little boy is FOUR today? It hardly seems possible! Gone is even the smallest hint of "baby" in him, as he's 100% all boy.

To commemorate this day, I present:

10 things about Adam at 4:

1. He loves Cars cars. He has an insane collection that keeps growing, thanks to a mom who likes to acquire new ones almost as much as he does.

2. He may be 4, but he still likes to come into our bed in the morning for snuggles.

3. He is sweet and sensitive. A caring soul.

4. Steak is one of his favorite dinner foods. He can eat more than I can, that I know for sure.

5. His guitar was his favorite birthday present. The kid has insane moves, and can rock the guitar like the pros.

6. He has an amazing memory. Read a library book to him a few times and he'll have it committed to memory. He likes to "read" it back to you.

7. He's a fantastic big brother. For the most part (and he has his moments, don't get me wrong!), he's loving and protective of Miles.

8. He's tall. Woooboy is he tall. And he's got the huge feet to match.

9. He has a fun sense of humor. Lord knows I like to tease, and he is a good sport about it. For example, the other day Jeff told Adam to "go chase your face around the block," because that's what HIS Dad used to tell him. Adam said "I can't, it's stuck on myself!"

10. He loves music. Loves to listen to it, loves to watch it (either live on on TV), loves to play it. Recently he's shown that he's commited quite the repertoire of song lyrics to his memory. He can sing so many songs, and it's adorable. His current favorite kids CD is Laurie Berkner's "Victor Vito." It's catchy, I admit.

Happy Birthday sweet boy!
